Life. Style. As a single word, lifestyle becomes more than the sum of its parts. Lifestyle is how we choose to live our lives. As FABULOUS FLOORS Magazine begins its third year, we are proud of all our past issues full of design inspiration and ideas for beautiful, no, fabulous floors for your home. We know we live in times that require new depth to the things we buy, characteristics beyond the beauty we see. In this issue we begin to explore new, caring dimensions of the floor fashion world. These days, brands are turning as thoughtful as they are beautiful. They speak our language of environmental responsibility. If we look beneath those stunning surfaces, we begin to find our favorite brands addressing our concerns for the environment we make of our homes and, of course, that of Mother Nature. Much of this issue is about the quality of our lives as well as style. It’s the carpet and rug fibers we choose to live with, responsible forestry management of wood-based products, Odors-Eaters™, which uses natural enzymes to attack spilled organic materials to keep the air fresh, ceramic tile made from natural materials we take for granted and resilients made from easily replenished plant materials.
