An expression of elegance

You CAN have it your way! Creative Edge Master Shop crafted a custom border design resulting in this 14-inch-wide “Rossano Border” using stones specified by the homeowner. The border motif was carried throughout the house in both angular and curved applications.

Check out the homeowner’s custom floor “palette.” All stones, including semi-precious ones, are shown at left. Artist Harri Aalto and Creative Edge Master Shop used them to craft these unique interpretations.

Creative Edge Master Shop technology means you can take your imagination as far as it will go.

If your tastes trend toward personal expression and custom environments, then you’re likely the creative type… just like the artisans at the Creative Edge Master Shop.

This American company is at the crossroads of the latest cutting-edge techniques and Old World artistic inspiration. The results are stunning, affordable expressions in stone and metal or just about any material you can imagine.

Affordability is in the pocketbook of the customer, of course, but with prices for a Creative Edge Master Shop creation ranging from about $1,000 to more than half a million dollars, there is a masterpiece of fine art for any floor (or wall mural!).

Every piece from the Creative Master Shop is a function of two things. First is the inspiration and touch of an artist, Harri Aalto, classically trained, skilled and experienced in the fine arts. Second is water jet technology, a space-age cutting process that fires fine needles of water and minute particles of garnet at very high speed to precisely form each piece of Harri’s creation.

Each formed piece, sometimes tens of thousands of them, depending on the size of the creation, and as fine as filigree, are hand assembled in a dry fit before careful packing and shipping to locations all over the world. Intricate, highly detailed creations are sub-assembled and numbered so that a good craftsman with no extra-special skills can install each design simply and without special tools or special materials.

You’ve probably experienced one of these creations gracing government buildings, airports and national memorials as well as fine homes.

Standard designs that you can customize with your own selection of stone, porcelain or ceramic tile, glass, metal and other substances start at about $800. If the sky’s the limit for the floors beneath, you can have Harri interpret your artistic vision in just about anything — including semiprecious stones!
